New Year's Eve - Resolutions?

Alright...it is that time...time to start a new calendar year...out with the old and in with the new and all that wonderful jazz.  At Winter Solstice during a fabulous Sabbat I let go of those things I wanted the New Year to start without, and made a single pledge on what I was going to work on for the new year.  I didn't choose something so overwhelming that I was going to get lost in it, I wasn't super specific like lose 10 lbs or blog every week or anything like that.  No I took a look deeper inside, to see what it was I could control and what I wanted to have positive happen in my life for the year, even if it meant having something negative happen first. And then I put that down.

So...I'm giving away a copy of one of my books to anyone who comments on:

What their New Year's Intention is...not necessarily resolution in the sense most are used to, but true Intention...from within.

Winner will be chosen tomorrow evening PST.

Good luck!

Post Holiday Blues?

Ha.  I know there are plenty of people out there who are sad the holidays are over.  Honestly, I'm not one of them.  For me holidays are stressful.  People (lots of them) over for dinner and presents, then getting ready for Santa in the wee morning hours, and then brunch for the family.  So much to do...and that is with working full time and trying to remember I love to write...well that part isn't so hard, but finding the time to write is.  So once they are over I can relax and sit down and take back up the things that I love.  Like writing.

Yep, I'm writing.  As a matter of fact I just got a late February deadline for my next installment.  I have a book out in February, a wonderful duet with Denyse Bridger that is fun and flirty and romantic.  And then I have this deadline...and I'm setting my own deadline for the second book to finish off Justice for Leanne...Hope's Story.  And I have about 4 new stories chasing around in my brain.  Which is a good thing, an exciting thing.  I can't wait to get them out and down on paper.

In the meantime though, I have lots of stories out there so find one you like and start reading.

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and Blessed Yule.  I celebrated a wonderful Winter Solstice and moved on to a very Blessed Yule with my family.  I am looking forward to the new year as the Wheel of the Year has already been turned and I am looking to what the calendar year will bring with it as well.  This is a time of renewal and letting go of those things that you do not want to take with you or that you cannot take with you as you begin the new journey.  I have a number of both of those things.  I am sure we all do.  Remember to take a moment and gently release those things that need to be release and hold tight to those that are traveling with you.  Wonderful friends, family and the important things that need to come first in your life will always be with you.

I hope your days have been Blessed... mine have.  And I look forward to sharing more with you the coming year.

Change is in the Wind

Lots of cool changes are coming and quickly. As we get easy for 2012 around here there is going to be more time for these activities that have slipped past without notice. So prepare for things to get noticed. I am working on the finish to Prince of Shadsows and the second book to Justice for Leanne. And I have a duet coming in February with the amazing Denysé Bridger. Also, I have a special story I am working on inspired by a dear friend of mine. This is a fun tale of twin witches separated at birth. So lots to be focused on and after January more time to focus on them. So prepared to be re-introduced to Brigit's World...where the paranormal is just plain normal.
